LBD - Little Black (T-shirt) Dress

Hello everyone!

I'm so excited to finally be back and have new content to share with you. I know I've been completely M.I.A. the past few months and I wish I had a good excuse as to why I was. I was extremely busy with school, work and was also feeling very uninspired the last few months in many different ways.

But I'm excited to be back and to be sharing more content and try to step up my blogging game because it's such a fun, little hobby of mine that I love.

I'm leaving for an extremely exciting trip next week and I'll be traveling for 3-1/2 weeks and I'm so excited to share it all on here. I'll talk more about the details over the weekend in my next post.

Excited for what's to come!

xoxo, Shay

LEATHER JACKET DOWN IN SOHO: NEW YORK CITY

 photography by innishitive

I finally got around to editing another look from NYC when I visited last month. My schedule with school has begun to get a bit crazy again and my time has been swamped with finishing up school work for my midterm.

But aside from that I took a quick break to edit this post and it makes me wish I could go back to some cooler weather and the crazy city. This day in the city consisted of brunch, non-stop shopping in SOHO and then just some more food in-between of shopping.

I paired some black Zara jeans with a cozy turtle neck and threw on my favorite leather jacket from Zara. I finished the look with this familiar scarf (styled it recently here) and added a bold lip. (lipstick is Diva - MAC Cosmetics)

Hope you guys enjoy!

OLIVE GREEN JACKET

Sometimes when I'm doubting in what to wear I just stick to basic pieces and basic colors. This look I'm sharing today I paired my good ol' trusty ripped jeans with a comfy, simple tank-top and threw on this draped olive jacket. It created the perfect casual that can be used to go out for some brunch on a Sunday morning or can be worn to a casual evening dinner. You could even switch out the booties with some flats for a comfortable all day outfit.

Are there any basic pieces you always go for?

Hope you have a great week, gotta go!
